The President was Ralph Mabry, LaPiana was never charged or mentioned in the indictment, but it was strongly suggested he was very tightly connected to the President of the local, and had his hand in the corruption, Mabry was convicted in 2006. The investigation was started to mainly nail LaPiana, who has never been convicted of anything, but they failed to do so.
