True story that happened way back in the 90s. My brother was visiting and we went to Vegas for a couple days.

As happens a lot in Vegas when you go with anyone, you tend to go your separate ways for a bit; OR if one is having luck at a certain casino, you split up, etc. We were at Vegas World (now the Stratosphere). This hotel, at the time was kind of isolated and tho not off strip, it wasn't in the middle of the activity. My brother left and we were gonna meet at our hotel at a certain time.

Long story short, I left Vegas World, it was just about dark and seeing a couple shady characters in the area, I started to run (sort of a light jog). One of those shady characters turned around, swaying back & forth, (obviously wasted) and yelled at me, "Hey, get off the sidewalk." lol Yea, I probably could have kicked his ass pretty easily, ha ha, BUT it was kind of creepy. I ALWAYS stay in a crowded area. The strip is a constant flow of people and I do feel safe.
