Cherry's Top of the Mall. Cherry Ruffo was the proprietor the first big city steakhouse located in small town Ohio - Ravenna, Ohio before moving into the new Eastwood Mall. I was so young when I went, with Mom and Dad, to Cherry's Steakhouse that I only believed that there was at least slot-machines in addition to prime steaks. I'll bet your wife also knew my Dad as he was a personal, not business, friend of Tony D.

She probably did. Whatever Tony D wanted everybody would jump and run. Whatever my wife asked for these guys would do it. Drive the Car to whereever make sure it was ready at whatever time, etc. Tony made sure sure her kids got whatever they needed. He treated her with respect and she to him. My wife was much younger than Tony. My wife also worked at the Sicilian Club in Akron. I don't want to get too far off topic. So let's just say Tony D was an important part of Youngstown. My wife was at the Funeral of Tony D where everyone from all over came and of course held a "meeting" or two there.
