Four Michigan Cities Among America's Snowiest

Quote:
Syracuse, N.Y., is in danger of losing its title as the snowiest big city in America.

The Salt City in central New York had 81 inches of snow as of Monday to rank fourth in the race to win the Golden Snow Globe competition. Erie, Pa., is the runaway leader with 107.5 inches. Buffalo, N.Y., is second with 94.4 inches.

But four Michigan cities are giving the others a run for their money in the contest among cities with populations over 100,000.

Grand Rapids ranks third with 92.2 inches, Ann Arbor ranks sixth with 71.7 inches, Detroit is at seven with 70.8 inches and Flint comes in at nine with 63.9 inches...

"When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
Winter is Coming

Now this is the Law of the Jungleā€”as old and as true as the sky; And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die.
As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk, the Law runneth forward and back; For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.
