I am no expert but have been to both LaGuardia and JFK. I had no problems going thru either but both could use some refurbishing IMHO. The 3 airports in my area (LAX, JohnWayne/OC and the one I use most frequently, Ontario, along with the one in MI, GeraldFord/KentCounty, are all in much better condition than those two. By comparison they appear way more updated.
