I would not have known her name but I DO remember the movie and her role. I was about 10, and we were visiting cousins in Detroit and my cousin who was a couple years older wanted to go to the movies (Detroit was the big city, always a tad ahead of G.R.) lol She asked my parents if I could go since it was an "adult" themed type movie and though I don't remember the conversation we did NOT end up going. Years later, however, I saw it on tv a few time, and yea, what a tear jerker it was. Really controversial for that time.
