I'm no lawyer, but does Jacobs think that this helps Uncle Joe? Kinda' sounds like it hurts him to me.


It helps him on the conspiracy charge. The Government has been trying to show that he was in charge of the enterprise and profiting from the actions of others. The Feds don't have him on tape accepting any payments so it's vital to prove that he was in charge. Then they can show the structure of LCN and how payments work. This may be his best defense to the conspiracy charge, as well as discrediting the witnesses.
