The case did not directly involve the Outfit, but Richard Bailey was an acquaintance of Victor Spilotro. Victor Spilotro was not a "made" guy in the Outfit, but an associate in the 1980s and 1990s of James Marcello. He was also the brother of Anthony and Michael Spilotro.
