The prosecution was expected to conclude its presentation of witnesses and evidence today. After a one-week break for the Christmas holiday, the defense will begin calling its witnesses on Dec. 30.
Doesn't this benefit the defense? The prosecution's case won't be fresh on their minds when they come back and listen to the defense's case.
