I was watching a very early episode of the Andy Griffith Show, in which Andy was appointed to be a judge of a beauty pageant at the Mayberry town festival. In an early scene Andy has a conversation with the mayor in Floyd's Barber Shop, and I noticed that while the mayor was speaking, Floyd was behind him actually mouthing the words of the mayor's dialogue as the mayor spoke his lines.

I know sitcoms were still in their infancy, but I wonder how that got unnoticed.
