If you listen to sports-talk radio....The SEC is weak this year. Missouri comes over from the Big 12 and they are first in their division. The Big Ten is weak - except maybe Ohio State. The Pac-XX is getting stronger. Florida State!! They are in the ACC. Who did they beat? Bethune Cookman! They do put up a lot of points.
I'd have to say this is a down year overall in college football. The PAC has been impressive, and some of the teams and players in the smaller conferences got recognition. My sons' friend, Matt Johnson, is having a great year at QB for Bowling Green. We've been following him as well as the center for Pitt and a defensive lineman for Ohio State that they also know.
But this Heisman race shows how uninspiring the year has in comparison to others.
