Yesterday was the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, so I took the short trip to Gettysburg for the festivities. Good crowds were spread across the town as well as the battlefield where a reenactment of the address took place. I also got to see Ken Burns give a brief lecture indoors at the museum about the significance of the day.
Wow how cool. I got stuck reading and annotating the Gettysburg address in AP English. But deep down I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ahhh.
If anything in this life is certain, if history has taught us anything, it is that you can kill anyone. ~ Michael Corlelone
