Iman, we'll see about the free agents. I believe we're both rooting for the same thing. The one silver lining about Tex, is his contract kept the Yanks from bidding on Pujols and Prince. Just a couple of years in, I think the Angels and Tigers are already regretting those deals.
I couldn't agree more on the Pujols and Fielder contracts but remember, Teixeria can still play very solid defense
Both Detroit and the Angels screwed themselves. They bid against themselves. I think they could have gotten the players they wanted to at a reduced cost (especially Fielder since it was so late in the offseason).
