The story line doesn't ring bells. How old is the movie? You don't know any actors in it? Also, I assume it's a horror movie.

I think it's from the 60s, b/w. I didn't recognize anyone in it, but I only watched it for a few minutes. I also saw it many, many years ago when I probably watched the whole thing. The monster in it would appear as just a swirling image of sorts off in the distance, then as it got closer its shape would become more evident. And, yes, it's a horror movie about devil worship or some such.
