I have to honestly say that, IIRC, it really wasn't bad at all. A little sweet, and I remember the texture as being thicker than heavy cream, but not as heavy as oatmeal.
But, what I find odd is that while it used to be advertised quite regularly on the TV when I was little, I haven't seen a mention of it commercially in at least 50 years.
