Can't believe that Dusty Baker got fired...He's had a great run as usual in Cincy...Hope Cincy gets Tony LaRussa out of retirement.
I heard a report that Walt Jocketty wanted the batting coach removed and Baker said essentially that if the front office has a problem with the coach, they may as well fire Dusty too.
Baker has been a very good manager, finding success wherever he went even though his teams never won a WS. If he wants to manage again, a team on the verge of getting comprtitive would benefit from him.
