Yes, I know there are televised events scheduled. I believe it's MSNBC that will show the entire "I Have A Dream Speech."

I just can't believe it's been 50 years and that this was in my lifetime. uhwhat It also will be 50 years since JFK was assassinated this November. It's amazing how certain memories remain vivid.

I wasn't born until '64, but the King's march and speech formed one of the most signicant events in American history.

By the way it's getting harder and harder to find a thread around here that isn't polluted with ignorance, hatred and juvenile "in your face" comments. I swear some of these threads have become dull lights attracting the spiteful and misinformed.
