I was looking at the TVLand schedule and I can't believe the odd times at which programming starts. Most were bewteen 6 and 12. Remember when shows started exactly on 12 or 6? Of course, remember when the summer was exclusively for reruns and a new series started in September? Well, now they start and stop all over the place. How times have change. It's more like economics.


TVLand uses often 36 minutes to show a traditionally 30 minute sitcom, mostly on weekends. They add an additional 6 minutes of commercials. Thus, a show might be scheduled from 10:18 to to 10:54.
