Well there was that tapped phone call recording between stanfa and one of the sicilian gambinos. And stanfa was complaining about merlino and how he just wanted new york to send some guys down to help take him out, and the gambino said that they were"at his disposal" but then they mever sent anybody.


Exactly. So where were those Genovese guys that consider themselves to be the enforcers of the rules then? Merlino should of been killed after his first attempt to kill Stanfa if we are to believe those rules.

The zips had their own major problems in the 1990's. I'm talking about the commission. Why didn't they get involved when Merlino was trying to kill a sitting boss? He should of been dealt with. If he didn't back off, he should of been killed. Right?
