I'm NOT 100% on this but i've heard Tommy Gambino is in NY these days and is under his uncles John and Joe.

He is not the boss of the LA Family because there really isn't a LA family anymore.

He most likely still has business interests in L.A.

Within the past year he has been in Palermo visiting his father Rosario.

Also i read Frank Cali was partners with a Tommy Gambino in the early 1990's in a business called "Ital Products Express". It's mentioned in that report on Circus Produce Corp. I'm not sure though if this Tommy Gambino is Rosario Gambino's son Tommasso or John Gambino's son also named Tommaso.
