Yes, but even after that, you read about subtle rivalries between the two groups; even within the same families. If I remember right, that was part of the rift between Bruno (Sicilian) and Caponigro (Calabrese?). I also remember reading in
Murder Machine how DeMeo was told he could rise any higher than soldier because he wasn't Sicilian.
