MONTREAL — One of the men charged with murdering Mafioso Salvatore Montagna is being kept in isolation while he awaits his eventual trial for the slaying.
The detail is mentioned in the written summary of a decision made by the Parole Board of Canada to officially revoke a release Jack Arthur Simpson, 71, was enjoying when he allegedly took part in Montagna’s death on Nov. 24, 2011.

You were not officially affiliated with any criminal organization.”

The parole decision reveals that Simpson is currently in an isolated cell while he continues to serve his 16-year sentence inside a penitentiary north of Montreal, and that he did not request the special security measure. He was supposed to take part in his parole hearing recently but cancelled a few days before....
