However warm that is, I wouldn't recommend any of my fellow Californians to go to Palm Springs or Death Valley (although don't know who goes there) as they said highs there......120ish.
I heard that the temperature could possibly reach 129° in Death Valley. That's only five degrees less than the highest temperature EVER recorded on earth! That's insane hot!

Oh yea FS, you got that right. Years back when my parents would visit in the summer, it would get high 90s or so and they'd say the same thing, "I thought it was dry heat, no humidity." But, you're right HOT IS HOT!!!
That being said, every time I fly back to MI in the summer I feel the humidity the minute I step off the plane.
