Torrie (and anybody else who is interested in info on Tony Dutchie), I have just received some info on him from a reliable source who knows his stuff. The source met Dutchie at a place called Villa 66 a couple of times sometime prior to his death in 1974 (he believe it was). So you are right about him passing away around 1974. Villa 66 is the same place where Gerry Pappa was killed in 1980. Dutchie had very bad hearing, he was frail and old looking guy. He had hearing aids, but never let that fool anyone he could read lips from across the room. He did a lot of time in prison for a murder he did not do and was very close to Gus Frasca, a Genovese captain who passed away in 1980. Tuzzo got his name "Dutchie" because as a young man he had redish hair they use to say like a Dutchman. Dutchie loved his pigeons. He had coops on the roof of his restaurant.

My source never told me which restaurant but possibly the place was Villa 66.
