I really liked gigi's character 2 but i seems to me there were 2 big reason for his death. 1, the curse of the aprile crew thing where all the capos end up dead and second that ralphies character needed to progress bc it was a pretty major storyline that season and he couldnt become capo while gigi was still alive. But i agree the way they just killed him off was pretty shitty
