Racketeering case put to rest Apparently they have been able to scare off a prosecutor. I've read a lot of different stories on the ABT ( which mostly operates in the Texas/Oklahoma area and some Appalachian states). I've read stories about members opening up seemingly legal businesses as well as having connections to law enforcement, which makes them seem to be a redneck version of the mafia. Then I've also read other stories about members of the ABT being nothing more than retarded crackers.
