(CNN) -- Actress Angelina Jolie announced in a New York Times op-ed article on Tuesday that she underwent a preventive double mastectomy after learning she carries a mutation of the BRCA1 gene, which sharply increases her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
I wonder if Brad Pitt is being kept abrest of the situation.
Boy, that is one hell of a thing to deal with, but you see it more and more out there. Angelina Jolie fame just brings it out to the news front. Many women have taken that same step to prevent it...Christina Applegate I think also did the same thing if I am not mistaken-
