As an action fan, I'll admit that I don't think that highly of the film works of Chuck Norris. Most of his films suffer from being cheap, cheesy, and just really unremarkable to be honest. (I try to seperate my opinion of the art from that of what I might think of said person, but Norris' known homophobia doesn't help his cause.)

But he did 2 movies I did enjoy, one of them was CODE OF SILENCE which was on cable the other day. From Chicago-native Andrew Davis (THE FUGITIVE, UNDER SIEGE), basically a Norris actioneer mixed with SERPICO morality drama. Engaging, exciting, very solid entertainment, especially in the climax like in the best westerns, our hero is forced to go alone to beat the bad guys as his fellow cops refuse to help him after he squealed on a corrupt cop.

Also he has a tank blowing stuff up, so that's a plus.
