I never liked KFC. In gritty neighborhoods of NYC, we have Kennedy Fried Chicken. I remember when I was young when school would let out I would stop by Kennedy Fried Chicken and buy a huge ice cream cone (3 big scoops for $1). Those were always good.


On the west coast, KFC was considered to be the best of the chicken chains. The grittier neighborhoods had Churches Chickens. Around my grandmother's house in East Oakland there were about five franchises!
