why did they leave us hanging with the mystery of Valari in the pine barrons episode? did he survive?, why didn't Slava question what happened to him? it left us in the air.
Ah the age old question....Chase probably just didn't get around to it, or was not happy with what he had at that point and went on to other stuff....
Or maybe David Chase - being David Chase - felt that not every loose end needed to be tied as the case with just about every other typical TV or even movie series.
