Are there actual nut cases? Or do the experienced members just disregard everything they don't agree with? Also isn't experience a teacher? How can someone add value when the "old guard" here make people feel so unwelcome? This isn't a Democrat or Republican only site! It's a site to discuss topics new and old. Yet when someone expresses themselves there dismissed as a "new guy" or a "nut". I've talked several friends into joining and all have left due to being shit on, it was interesting there comments when they did leave, "the members were plain mean" "I got belittled for raising a topic" and trust me these are not thin skinned individuals.
Don't take it so personal, I'm pretty sure the "nut cases" being referred to are all the new people that show up for a week or two worshiping mobsters and acting like they want to be one like its a good thing.

That makes sense though my post was more tongue-in-cheek (as I tried to indicate with the smiley face). I didn't have political persuasion in mind at all either. Nor did I really expect a response, but it's interesting.
