I'm surprised FBI does not fake opening of a strip club, and just wait for mobsters to show up trying to extort them. In places like New York it would seem like easy sting operation.
Not a bad idea, Jace. But there's probably too much capital involved, and the Feds are notoriously cheap in their sting operations (except of course when they're paying scumbags like Ron Previte upwards of a million dollars, but that's another story entirely).
Plus, show me a strip joint where the owners aren't banging the whores. If the Feds played by the rules, they couldn't do such a thing. Right? The dancers would figure it out in a heartbeat because they're usually beating off the owners with a stick in those places
