Best of luck to you. My mom was getting very near that point before she passed away last year. Her mind was going and she couldn't get around well at all. The fact that she kept saying "I don't wanna go in a home" made it even more difficult. Luckily my brother stayed with her. She could have never been left alone though. It IS hard but it's probably the best thing to do.
