You know RR, while I agree with much of what you posted a few panes above about Ritchie's post, let's not exaggerate the use of terms such as Black or Jews. If one can legitimately accrue to their use some pejorative meaning, then express that as part of your post. Since race, ethnicity, and religion (among others) can influence perception and statements, reference to them has its place. Also, since I am quite expressive in many conversations (as well as posts on this Board) about being Italian, I welcome being identified as such by others unless such identification is meant to be pejorative and I recognize it as such.

By the way, Rirchie would also do well to avail himself of correct spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.
