Scarfo JR didn't really hang around with many of those guys before his father got put away aside from summer times at the Jersey Shore. He was really considered an outsider by the younger guys like Merlino and the Changs because he #1 grew up and lives in AC not South Philly and #2 he didn't earn respect from the rest of the guys because he wasn't making the kind of moves those guys were out on the streets, he got what he got from being the son of the boss.
Fact of the matter is Scarfo Jr has turned out to be 10 times a better mobster then anyone in Philly for years, just look at the money the guy makes, that idiot Merlino missed a trick by trying to kill him, Joey has to be the worst boss in LCN history.
