To be honest this season has not been great, pretty boring, only 2 teams and only 1 winner. Teams like Liverpool and Arsenal who used to challenge are mediocre at best. Standard of the premier league has really dropped off in the last few years.
yeah Premier League established itself as the top league in the world by having 3/4/5 legit contenders while this time it was pretty much set in stone by midseason.
I wouldn't say quality has dropped for a "few years" though. last season was just great.
