I'll look into the specifics of Philly's statute for murder of a witness and see how it works. I didnt know that it was a death penalty qualifer.
So far they've just hit Nicodemo with standard murder charges. No mention of DiPietro being a CI or potential witness. But if they do hit him with those he's looking at a possible death penalty case.
