BBC's Ripper Street is quite good. I've been enjoying it up to now. Only two more episodes till the end of season 1. I started watching it because of Matthew Macfadyen, but the other two leads are awesome too.

Am I the only one who prefers TV series to movies? I mean they've consistently had better writing than movies.
