Is law in order the shows when something happens in the news they try to get an episode about it with in weeks of the story happening?
Yes, many times they have stories "ripped from the headlines" as they say, not really true but reflect current news.
I assume these kinds of shows aren't your cup of tea. I say that because you live in Brooklyn and don't know about Law & Order?
