It's a figment of the Government's imagination. The term gained popularity during the Mikey Cigars trial a few years ago. According to the Feds, Tino, Mikey and three other guys referred to themselves as "The Fist," kind of like an elite shadow hit crew for the Westside. But I don't believe it. It sounds too contrived and "Hollywood" to me rolleyes.


Of course, Gotti, Gravano, DeCicco, Armone, and DiBernardo called themselves "The Fist" when they were plotting to take out Castellano.

Mods should mind their own business and leave poster's profile signatures alone.
