I call on all you New Yorkers to be on the lookout for my younger son this weekend.
I hope they have a good time! Not sure how old they are, but it's a great place to explore at (almost) any age. I assume they're not NYC newbs, tho, right?
My boy is 17 and his buddy just turned 18. They've both been to NYC several times, but this is the first time with three days of independence. They're meeting his buddy's mom for dinner tonight. They'll undoubtedly have a great time this weekend. I'll text him periodically to make sure he's okay (he last let me know they were hanging out in Times Square).
I wasn't crazy about him missing two days of school, but he's doing well in class, working 20-24 hours a week, and keeping up with baseball training, so my wife and I felt the little bastard deserved this trip.
