I don't know that I've heard of Drakes but it sure looks like a quaint place of the past. I remember most drug stores and Department stores had a soda fountain.
Tho I was too young to remember, when my brother was little my mom was shopping and took him to the soda fountain in the department store. Apparently they had someone fixing the whipped cream machine. They asked my brother a few times if they could test it out by adding more whipped cream to his milk shake. Heck yea!!! They story stuck in my family forever for some reason.
