That was such a treat as a kid, a must at the candy store, back when there was candy for a penny, and there were candy stores. Soda fountain/candy store, it was the best place in the world for a kid.

Speaking of soda fountains (which I remember well. Many department stores had them when I was a kid). Does anyone remember an icecream soda? I don't see them anymore, only milkshakes.
