He was the last of a dying breed IMO. He was a big time earner, maybe the biggest they had. He knew how to squeeze cash from every situation. He was also a genuine tough guy with hitters all around him. He was feared but more importantly he was respected. He had it all and that's why he's dead. The guys at the top knew that he would own that family someday so they eliminated him. When I say he would have owned that family I don't mean like how Gotti bull rushed his way to the top, I mean that he was a natural leader and those around him would have pushed him there eventually.
