Really? So, everyone who has a retail job is an underachieving drop-out? My nephew lives in Virginia and graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's in business. He was offered a well-paying job in asset protection with Target when he graduated a few years ago. He took the job because it was a poor economy. Thanks to the fact that he lives five hours away and works like an ungodly number of hours at this time of year (and doesn't make overtime because he's "management"), he has been unable to have a Thanksgiving or a Christmas with his family. Thank God he got a new job a few years ago, and for the first time since he graduated college, he's going to be with us for Thanksgiving.

I am disgusted by the demands that the stores put on their employees over the holidays. These workers deserve to be with their families and enjoy their time. The stores open earlier and earlier every year. I heard that one of them (WalMart?) is opening at 8:00 on Thanksgiving night! mad
