The Rizzuto's have to be a fairly large organization to have one point controlled everything in Montreal. However being big doesn't mean necessarily mean power. It helps, but the Rizzuto doesn't strike me as a huge "New York" style family. More like a medium group with close knit members and a lot of associates to keep things in line.
