Got my power back tonight, but it's kinda funny how meaningless that is when you don't. Over 5 days, I've been up (or not) at all hours of the day/night, because time doesn't mean anything when you're stuck like that. Very weird situation.
But I hate Standard Time! Guess it doesn't matter much in the long run, but I hated (when I did) waking up in the dark, and getting home in the dark. Soooo depressing!
My grandfather was a coal miner, and in the Fall and Winter he would go down in the mines in the darkness of morning, and usually not come up until after dusk. The only time he would see sunshine was once a week.
