My husband's always had a theory that, if society as we know it collapsed, it wouldn't take us very long to be back in the trees flinging crap at one another. For that very reason, I think he would like "Under The Dome", as it is every bit a sociological study. He stares at a computer screen all day, though, and his eyes hurt too much to read at night.
