All those on the northeast coast might want to start monitoring the hurricane. It's looking more and more likely that the NYC metro area (at least along the coast) is going to be affected by the storm. If (and it's a big "IF") all these fall in line it may get pretty bad around here. I'm even thinking of buying a portable camping stove in the event that we lose power for a few days. Last year I went a whole week without electricity, and that meant no stove, too.

klydon may even be looking at a big snowfall. Some weather models are saying that Mary Cas' area may be the landfall spot. What is looking particularly bad is that the storm will linger for awhile, compared to usual 6-8 hour durations.
