If the current box-office trackings continue, TAKEN 2 could very well make $50 million this weekend. I wondered if there would be a dropoff because of the bad reviews its getting, but this seems to be a "critic-proof" movie. Sorta like the late 80s when Stallone/Seagal/Schwarznegger and all that bunch had action movies that made money despite the critics usually not caring for them (yet the masses don't care, they want what they want.)
If religion is the opiate of the masses then bad action movies are heroin.
